been able to gain massive media attention from all sources of the web, they
have used social media to advertise their game and also sell their game to the
gaming community,. Epic games have been really interactive with the gaming
community such as setting up events and hashtags to gain massive media
attention from people such as Drake and other famous people.
The game is free so it is playable by
everyone and because they have their own servers the player doesn't have to
have online in the case of PS4 users, this allows the game to be distributed
very easily as the game can be advertised as a free game which will pull in
people to get the game.
The game is digital so you don't have
to go out and buy the game you can be
ibn the comfort of you home to get the game, it is also easily distributed by sponsoring
online influences to get the game out there to their audiences which will lead
to the game being downloaded more.
The game was originally advertised at
gaming events and online social media to build a following to make sure the
game will get downloads on the realise, as the game has weekly updates it makes
the game interesting and also gives the social media topics to speak to the
fans about which will cause distribution to people who have only just seen the
game and are interested in it.

This trailer was shown on YouTube, twitter and many other platform online, the game released a lot of teasers to get people excited for Epic Games new release 'Fortnite' as it the game got closer to the release date they started posting video clips of the game and also small features that the followers of the game had to find out what they are.
the game had any ways of advertising as they are keeping the game fresh and new with weekly updates and also a 3 month battle pass which will lead to the next season, this means that Epic Games are able to bring new players in and also give the original players new things to do,they use public figure to advertise the game because all together they are able to bring millions of people into the game. the game are also selling merchandise such as tee-shirts and other items, they also do giveaways and challenges which allow the community to stay in contact with the creators of the game, they have also stared things such as the #boogiedownchallenge which got the community involved in the game and also got new people to find out what the hashtag meant and who created it.
